Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to direct, act and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to a British father and an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. While still a small child, she was featured in various commercials. Anna moved to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They got engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna was a convert to Judaism by then and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton.
