Lowe hosted an hour of live television in the FA Cup Quarter Final broadcast on ESPN UK in March 2012. The broadcast was telecast when Bolton's Fabrice Muamba, a midfielder who plays for Bolton FC, suffered a heart failure on the field. In the following evening, she was on the front pages of each UK newspaper. Lowe became the only female presenter in UK time of the FA Cup final, a live broadcast lasting six hours at Wembley Stadium. Lowe had a job as a journalist and presenter with Setanta Sports from 2007-2009, where she was responsible for their pioneering reportage on the Football Conference. She also hosted Football Matters Setanta's Premier League Studio Program.
