Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Noel Hennessy is active Canadian actress and singer celebrated for her significant contribution in American television. She has been praised for her exceptional performance on the American television series Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy has also displayed her talent as an actor through movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class in which she worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. Hennessy kickstarted her acting career along with her sister in 1988 as the twins of callgirls on Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut came in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. She got her big break later in the year after she was tapped as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. She mesmerized audiences in this role for three seasons until her departure in 1996. Parker was in movies and shows such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America where she won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the best supporting actress. Parker received the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway production Proof.
